Gauss plasma

Done this weapon project for https://www.facebook.com/crimsonfrontiers/ a while back. Supposed to be a plasma rail gun, battery powered with optional cable power. Was a really fun piece to work on, the backstory is that there are lots of different manufacturers in the universe, each with its own style, so I had pretty much a free reign in defining it for this gun. Was trying to get that eastern-block arms aesthetics with a slightly rough look but a solid build and project it a little bit into the future with more advanced materials (so no stamped metal, sorry AK) and lots of (3d printed?) plastic parts. Was a good exercise in exploring how material properties define the shape language of the object, and a nice chance to get back to some small scale objects, as I’ve been mostly designing huge EVE things at that point.
